Ways to Give

There are many ways you can contribute to Lifeline Education Charter School. Every gift to our school, regardless of its size, sends a strong message that we are committed to our students, their education, and the future of Lifeline. There are several ways to give. 

 
  • Contributions made by check, cash, and money orders only are tax deductible in the year the donation is given. Please make checks payable to Lifeline Education Charter School. 
  • Gift In Kind Donations are tangible goods and services donated to the school for which the donor can receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the item. Before accepting Gifts In Kind, the appropriate school department should be contacted by the donor to determine our ability to use the specific item. Common Gifts In Kind are computers, books and laboratory equipment.
  • Make a PledgeYou may make a pledge to the Annual Fund or other area by contacting Tinia Cortez at (310) 885-1872 or emailing [email protected].

Soaring Eagles Capital Campaign

Annual Fund income supports the annual operating expenses of our two campus schools but do not fund long-term facility needs, such as construction or renovation of buildings and campus preservation. Occasionally, the Lifeline Education Charter Schools’ Board of Trustees will identify essential facility needs, and all LEC parents, alumni and their parents, grandparents, faculty/staff and the trustees are asked to make major gifts and pledges toward meeting these goals.
 
The Soaring Eagles Capital Campaign expanded the hearts, minds and horizons of today’s students and future generations of students. The expansion and renovation of buildings and classrooms, coupled with campus road improvements, will ensure that Lifeline Charter Schools remains a premier character building academic institution in Los Angeles, California.
Annual Fund
 
The Lifeline Education Charter Schools Annual Fund encourages parents, alumni, faculty/staff, students, grandparents, parent of alumni and friends to recall and renew their Lifeline ties by making annual gifts. These gifts strengthen each school’s ability to serve students, faculty and staff through teaching innovations, updating technology, and for some schools, tuition assistance. Your support to the Annual Fund goes directly to the school or schools of your choice as a personal expression of your commitment to Lifeline Charter Schools, its students, programs and goals. When you make a gift to the Annual Fund, not only are you contributing to our ability to positively impact the lives of students from the age of 11 to 18, but you are also assisting in the preservation of unique educational experience for future generations. Your gift is truly appreciated and will make a difference this year in the lives of students and faculty.

What better way to celebrate a graduation, honor a family member, pay tribute to a faculty member who inspired or commemorate a team championship, wedding, birth, anniversary or reunion than with a specially engrave brick or paver in the beautiful Lifeline Charter piazza. Your brick or paver memorializes your ties to Lifeline Charter Schools as well as advances the heritage of excellence that is our distinction.
The Lifeline Charter Schools piazza is an outdoor gathering place at the heart of the Campus. Piazza means “center of life,” a fitting description for a community space situated on the Sante Fe Avenue of Compton California.
 
When you support the Lifeline Legacy Stones project with a gift of $250 or more, you are entitled to an engraved brick or paver and a permanent place at the piazza and on main campus. These stepping stones from the past to the future pay tribute to those whose footprints.

We Need Musical Instruments

Lifeline Charter has a rocking going on in the music department. Students in the Middle and Upper school has found a passion in the guitar and other instruments, but we need your help to take it to a higher level.

There are several ways to get involved with the Lifeline “WE NEED GUITARS” gifting program. We are accepting new or used electric and acoustic guitars as well as Guitar strings, metronomes, guitar stands and guitar mounts, sheet music and more.

We also welcome any musical instruments that is donated to the school such as drums, pianos, trumpets, flutes, violins, Cellos, Saxophones, etc.
