Summer Bridge Program

The Lifeline Summer Bridge program was developed to introduce our incoming middle (6th graders) and incoming high school (incoming 9th graders) students to their new environment and gain early and deep exposure to the rigor and expectation of our program.

This free, three-week summer session focuses on developing both academic and social skills for success. Lifeline Summer Bridge Scholars will take courses including English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Life Skills. The LECS Summer Bridge program can help students who are nervous to enter middle or high school feel more confident in the transition.

Summer Bridge Scholars will meet potential classmates, as well as build relationships with teachers, staff, counselors, advisors, and mentors who will instruct and support students in the fall. Individual counseling sessions will be offered to allow students to identify personal behaviors that may affect their success in school, identify and reflect on their goals for the future, and get answers to any questions they may have.
Enrollment is now open for all current 5th and 8th grade students (or students entering the 6th or 9th grade for the 2024-25 school year).
